The Respect Act (House bill #2946 | Senate bill #1800)
Not only does Kansas lag behind in FASD resources statewide, our nation faces big challenges from the COVID-19 pandemic where drinking among women of child bearing age has risen an estimated 40% (https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC7763183/). The FASD Respect Act calls for funding, education and ultimately help for families like you. The act calls for building a foundation for change.

The Kansas FASD Support Network, Inc technically started with advocacy at Town Halls and virtual meeting with Senators and Representatives to help educate them about the extreme needs in our state and our nation. Senator Jerry Moran, Representative Sharice Davids have agreed to Co-Sponsor The FASD Respect Act! We thank them and continue to advocate for FASD support.
